Laszlo F. Goda, 70, passed away on January 29, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born on July 27, 1943 in Budapest, Hungary to Ferenc and Anna (Vodros) Goda. Laszlo worked for E & C Manufacturing for 28 years before opening his own business, LWC Machine & Tool & Die. Laszlo and his wife, Constance, were owner/operators for 20 years before selling the business in 2013. He was a member of the North Cape Yacht Club for 34 years and loved racing his sailboats, 'œSplash Dance'. Laszlo enjoyed spending time working on his 1968 Firebird.
Laszlo is survived by his loving wife, Connie; daughter, Wendy (Chuck) Romstadt; grandchildren, Emma and Braxton Romstadt; mother, Anna Goda of Hungary; sister, Erika (Gyurgy) Baranyai; mother-in-law, Jeanette Domonkos. He was preceded in death by his father, Ferenc.
Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
