LauraEllen Denelda Curry, 92 of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2009 in the Willows Rehabilitation of Arbors of Oregon surrounded by her loving family. Laura was born in Windsor, Canada on December 10, 1916 to Martin and Fanny (Justus) Barney. She worked in the assembly department at Champion Spark Plug retiring in 1984. Laura was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; brother, Burnard "Barney" and grandson, Todd Curry. Surviving are her children, Patricia (Jerry) Snider, Lona (Mel) Kigar, William (Linda) Curry, Phil (Bonnie) Curry, Cheryl (Gary) Kigar; 17 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Jeanette and Lois Curry. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, on Tuesday from 2-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in North Oregon Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Laura's memory are asked to consider the charity of the donor's choice.
