LaVerne W. Edwards, Northwood, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2026. She was 75 years old.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on November 26, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Winifred Lewis. A 1972 graduate of Capital University, she worked as a social worker, a medical transcriptionist, and retired as a project manager for AT&T. She enjoyed singing, crocheting, sewing, playing cards, bowling, ceramics, fishing, volunteering at her kids' schools and at her church. She especially loved spending time at the lake. Always a people person, her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends and playing games with her grandchildren. A woman of deep faith, she was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gregory L Edwards. Married on June 10, 1972, they spent 54 wonderful years together. They raised three children; Kelly Troyer (Kevin), Eric Edwards (Mandy), and Amanda Mariucci (Tony). She has seven grandchildren; Hazel, Cecelia, and Kaia Troyer, Benjamin and Samuel Edwards, and Liliana and Leo Mariucci.

Friends and family may visit on Friday January, 16 from 2-8 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home in Millbury, OH (1111 Woodville Rd.). Rev. Paul Reichert will conduct a funeral service on Saturday, January 17, at 11a.m. at Zoar Lutheran Church (314 E Indiana Ave, Perrysburg, OH). Burial will take place at Lake Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be sent to Zoar Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
