Lawrence P. Large, 77, of Toledo, OH past away August 28, 2006 in his home. He was born in Oregon, OH to Edna (Anderson) and Chester Large on July 3, 1929. Buddy had been employed as a crane operator at Omni-Source for 48 years, retiring in 1992.
Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years, Florence; children, Trudy (Pee Wee) Kain, Lawrence (Kathy) Large, Thomas Large, Vickie Helwig; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Shirley Van Scoy and Carol Swanson, brothers, Larry and Joe Large.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. at Starr Avenue on Thursday, August 31, 2006 from 2 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 10 am with interment following in North Oregon Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions in Buddy's memory be made to Hospice of NW Ohio, Perrysburg.
