Lazetta C. White, 80, of Toledo, OH passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2008, at Bay Park Community Hospital. She was born in Alabama to Walt and Laura (Thorn) Smelser on October 27, 1927. Lazetta worked as a waitress for 20 years with Bud & Luke's Restaurant retiring in 1982. She was a member of Echo Meadows Church of Christ and enjoyed cooking, quilting, and sewing. Her specialty was making Raggedy Ann Dolls. Surviving are her husband, Ernesteen "Jack"; son, Lee E. (Eileen) Moore of Lynnville, TN; daughter, Laura G. (Bob) Long of Genoa, OH; brother, Leslie Smelser, Andrea (Brian) Beard, Rebecca (Matt) Zimmerman, Rob Long, Allison Long, and David (Ginger) Smith; step-grand-children, Dee Ann (Rob) Raider and Dano (Tiffany) White; great-grandchildren, Rachel Beard, Madison Zimmerman, and Shane (Lisa) Chapman. She was preceded in death by her parents; 6 sisters and 1 brother. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, from 2-9 pm. Funeral services will be held in Echo Meadows Church of Christ on Wednesday at 11 am with interment following in Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Lazetta's memory may be given to the church. Visitation: Tuesday, 2-9 p.m. Services: Wednesday, 11 a.m.
