Leah J. Buschmann, 92, of Oregon, Ohio passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 3, 2016. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 19, 1924 to Fred and Florence (Schill) Tegtmeyer. She graduated from Waite High School, and then went on to work for LaSalles Downtown as a bridal consultant until her retirement in 1953. Leah was a long time member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. She was a past member of Harbor View Yacht Club, enjoyed golfing, traveling and gardening. Leah is survived by her sons, Bob (Linda) Buschmann, David Buschmann; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Florence "Boots" Watts. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Evelyn Garner. Friends may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 6:00 pm until the time of memorial service at 8:00 pm. Burial will take place at a later date.
