Lebanna A. Jeffries, 86, a resident of Orchard Villa for the past 6 years in Oregon, Ohio and formerly of Northwood, OH passed away Sunday, August 31, 2008, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. Lebanna was born in Vinton, Ohio on January 11, 1922, to Ernest and Bertha Russell. Lebanna had worked for J. C. Penney Company retiring to Florida in 1981. In her spare time Lebanna enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and painting beautiful pictures. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Betty (George) Widmer, Albert (Audrey) Jeffries, Penny Piatt, Roberta (Ben) Corso, Richard (Faye) Jeffries; 19 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Norwood (Betty), William (Ellen), Vernon (Janet), Paul (Mary) Russell; sisters, Leah Jeffries, Bertha Stover. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert; son-in-law, Carl Piatt; sisters, Lura, Lledo, Lena, Leron, Leneva, Ernestine; brothers, Nobel, Nerol, Noel, Novel; great- grandchild, Kip. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Willow Cemetery. Visitation: Wednesday, 2-9 p.m. Services: Thursday, 1:00 p.m.
