Obituary

Lena Mae Farmer, 77 of Oregon, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2003 in Toledo Hospital. Lena was born on August 5, 1925 to Fern and Lola (Strait) Lucas in Pataskala, OH. She was the widow of Bernard Farmer. Lena had been employed for G C Murphys, Tibbets Inc. and the Sportsman Bar. In her free time she enjoyed bowling and crocheting. Mrs. Farmer was a member of the American Legion-Arthur Daly Post No. 334 and Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 2510 Ladies Auxiliaries. Surviving are her loving children, Janet Weott(Chuck), Noah (Diane) Farmer, Linda (Jeff) Wilson and Mary Ervin; sister, Clara Elk of Heath, OH; grandchildren, Ernie (Stephanie), Brian (Pam), Cherry (Richard), Jack (Candie) and Ryan; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Kayla and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 am in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road where visitation will be Friday from 2 to 9 pm with an American Legion Auxiliary Service being held at 7 pm. Interment will be in Newark Memorial Gardens, Newark, OH at 2 pm on Saturday. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association. Visitation: Visitation Times
