Leonard Gene Clay (Mudd), 70, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 26th.
He was born September 27, 1934 in Greenup, Kentucky to Ethel Marie (Griffith), and Lewis Oliver Clay. Leonard worked as a Brakeman for the B & O Railroad, retiring in 1986. He is survived by companion Helen Moore and family; his children; Patricia (James) Earl of Tucson, AZ., David (Laurie) of Albuquerque NM, Thomas of Toledo, OH, Cynthia (Raymond) Cheek of Mesa, AZ, Linda (William) Mroziewicz of Oregon, OH, Joan (Paul) Hudson of Edon, OH and Charles (Christina) of Toledo, OH; brothers, Charles of Toledo, OH, Samuel (Doris) of Oregon, OH and Robert of North Port, FL; sisters; Christine Penix of South Shore, KY, Ruby (David) Turner of Lewisburg, OH, Dorothy (Paul Sr.) Ridout of West Portsmouth, OH, Garnet Biller of Columbus, OH; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and oldest brother Otis.
Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of Joan Hudson.
