Leonard F. DeMuth, 65, of Oregon, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Promedica Bay Park Hospital. Lenny was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 3, 1949, to Leonard R. and Rita (Freckelton) DeMuth. He was a graduate of Waite High School. Lenny had worked as the parts manager for 41 years for General Trucks Sales, formerly Ed Schmidt, just recently retiring. He had won many trips from his work, traveling with his wife to Australia, Hawaii, Mexico and many other places. His professional memberships include Owens State Community College Diesel Advisory Board; Toledo Area General Motors Management Club, where he was a member and past officer. Lenny was an avid sports fan, following the Buckeyes, Red Wings, Tigers, Mud Hens, Walleyes and NASCAR. In his spare time he also enjoyed bowling, golfing, boating and camping; but his real love was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving is his loving wife of 44 years, Susan K.; children, Scott (Hassie), Tiffany (John) Nauman; grandchildren, Kylie, Michael, Lexi, Austin, Devin, Dillon; brother, Paul (Patricia) DeMuth. Lenny was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rita Wetzel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00-9:00 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road and where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
