Leonard E. Gadus, 78, of Toledo, OH passed away September 11, 2006, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo on November 6, 1927, to John and Theresa (Stuller) Gadus. Leonard was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Church and a veteran of the US Army. He was employed for 35 years with Libbey Owens Ford retiring in 1989. Leonard loved playing cards, fishing with childhood friends and gardening. He really enjoyed life and was a very devoted family man. Surviving are his wife of 55years, Ann Marie; sons, Leonard T. and Michael D. (Rose); daughters, Mary E. Vibbard and Carolyn M. Stafford; sisters, Elizabeth (Joseph) Martis and Anne O'Shea; grandchildren, Theresa, Martin, David, Rose, Michael Jr., Richie and Katherine and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Jr. and sisters, Agnes McDaniel and Cecelia Kleeberger. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, September 13, 2006, from 2-9 p.m. with a 7:30 Scripture Service. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday at 10:15 a.m. and proceed to Sacred Heart Church for 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
