LeRoy C. Peppers, 79, formerly of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Arbors of Oregon. LeRoy was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 11, 1929, to LeRoy and Ethel (Pool) Peppers. He was a US Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean War. LeRoy was retired from Olin Corporation and Tenneco where he had worked 13 years at each company. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #3430 and the VFW Post 9963. LeRoy was a season ticket holder, being the Toledo Mud Hens biggest fan! Surviving are his wife, Nina; his children, Lani (Fritz) Angle, Rick Peppers; 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, where the family will greet friends beginning at 12 noon. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider American Cancer Society.
