Leslie W. Dearing, 72, of Toledo, OH, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2006, in St. Vincent Mercy Medical. He was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on September 19, 1933, to Leslie and Dorothy (Tuggle) Dearing. Les was employed as a funeral service professional with Bunting Ambulance along with Worth Clegg, Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley, Witzler-Shank, Walker and Boyer-Van Wormer-Scott Funeral Homes for the past 52 years. He also worked with Welling Funeral Coaches for past few years. Les enjoyed gardening and was a gospel pianist. Surviving are his daughter, LuAnn (Donald) Harris of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Julia Henry of Holland, OH; dear friend, Charles Dennison of Oregon, OH; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Tuesday, August 15, 2006, from 2 until 9 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in Glasgow Cemetery, Kentucky on Thursday.
