Leslie J. Toth, 69, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 17, 1955 to Leslie J. and Anna A. (Seidinger) Toth. He graduated from St. Francis De Sales High School, and went on to become an apprentice Tool & Die Maker. On June 25, 1976 he married the love of his life, Deborah Lynne (Bishop). He earned his Journeyman's card through Stephens Machine, went on to work at Modern Tool for over 20 years, and finally retired from the Daimler/Chrysler company. Leslie was an avid fisherman, and lifelong Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was affectionately known as Grampy, Pops, and Daddio, and cherished spending time with his family most of all.
Leslie is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debbie; children, Leslie A. (Grace) Toth, Jenny (Don) Wasserman, Catherine "Katie" (Mike Amadio) Toth-Timbers, Michael (Giovanna) Toth, Matthew Toth; grandchildren, Kyle, Kara, Emma, Kenleigh, Everleigh; and siblings, Maria (Ric) Kudas, and Susie (Harry) Levinson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive loved ones at Epiphany of the Lord Parish-St. Stephens Catholic Church, 1880 Genesee St., Toledo, Ohio 43605 on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy be directed to charity of donor's choice.
