Obituary

Lester A. Goldfuss, 80, of Perrysburg passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Perrysburg Care and Rehab. Les was born on January 11, 1931 in Defiance, Ohio to Herman and Ethel Goldfuss. He was a US Army Korean War Veteran. Les retired after 31 years of service from GM Powertrain. He was a member of Grace Lutheran and also a member of the Zenobia Shrine; the High Twelve and the Temple Guards. Les was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan! Surviving are his children and their spouses, Vickie (Michael) Ulman, David (Joanne) Goldfuss; sister, Eileen Cole; also surviving are his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Les was preceded in death by his wife, Susan E.; parents; brother, Herman. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3-8 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road and where his funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 am. Interment will be private in Toledo Memorial Park. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
