Lewis A. Rost Sr., 64, of Northwood, Ohio passed away August 13, 2014. He was born on March 29, 1950 to Walter K. and Mildred L. (Hame) Rost. He was a devoted husband to his wife Wanda for 43 years. Lewis worked Meijer Parking Garage for 17 years and was a Group Leader at Hinkle Manufacturing for 26 years. Aside from work, enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid football fan; especially of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Detroit Lions.
Surviving is his mother, Mildred L. Rost; wife, Wanda J. (Lutz) Rost; children, Christieanne (Josh) Smith, Lewis Jr. (Bethany) Rost and Jennifer (Terry) Brown; grandchildren, Dominick, Alex, Madison, Kaleb, Trista, Olivia and Jace; and siblings Lyn Loss and Bill Rost. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter K. Rost; brother-in-law, Ed Loss; sister-in-law, Izora Rost; and grandson Meguire Smith.
Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon, Ohio 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Friday, August 15 from 2:00-8:00 p.m., and on Saturday August 16 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be to the Rost family.
