Lilly was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 24, 1924 to Eugene and Elizabeth (Mousjastant) Conrad. She was a 1942 graduate of Woodward High School. Henry, an Engineer, with Lilly's help built their own plane which they flew to many places in the U.S. They continued flying until, Henry suffered a stroke which caused the plane to flip on the tarmac while landing. Lilly was proud of her Swiss ancestry, travelling to Switzerland numerous times with Henry. She was a member of the Swiss Club where she enjoyed singing with the Swiss Singers. Lilly also enjoyed reading, baking, using her mother's recipe to make a gugelhofh cake, trips to Windsor, Canada and she also had a love for animals.
Along with her husbands, Robert and Henry, Lilly was preceded in death, by her sons, Robert and Rickey Granger; grandson, Sean Granger; nephew, Michael Moore.
