Lillian A. Hart, 86, of Toledo, OH, passed away February 19, 2004, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on June 11, 1917, in Toledo, OH, to George and Grace (Holland) Coy. Prior to World War II, Lillian was a teacher at Olney School. Later she was employed as a secretary at Camp Perry where she met her late husband, Donald E. Hart. Lillian was an avid bowler, bridge player, a Girl and Cub Scout leader, and took up the game of golf when she was in her 70's.
Surviving are her children, James Hart and Deborah (John) Petlow; grandchildren, Peggy, Carrie and Mandie; brother, James (Nancy) Coy; sister, Georgena Kowalec, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH, on Friday, February 20, 2004, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Willow Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Lillian's memory can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
