Lillian A. Pierce-Antoine, 92, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 at her residence. She was born in California, Pennsylvania May 24, 1917 to Mark and Beryl (Gears) Mills. Lillian married Wilbert Pierce in 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1958. She later married Leland Antoine who preceded her in death in 1984. Lillian was employed as a janitor with Euclid United Methodist Church where she was a longtime member and enjoyed teaching Sunday school. In later years Lillian attended Memorial United Church of Christ. She volunteered with Woodlane Industries and enjoyed spending time with her extended family. Lillian is survived by her children, Mark (Linda) Pierce, of Elyria, John (Sharon) Pierce of Sylvania, and Lucy (Harry) Ketron, of Toledo; step children, Leland (Karyl) Antoine and Timothy (Debbie) Antoine. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Anna, and step-son Ted Antoine. Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave. on Sunday, January 31st from 1:00-6:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
