Lillian R. Schmidlin, 91, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009 at Ebeid Hospice. She was born on September 25, 1918 in Toledo, Ohio to Oscar and Anna (Heft) Toms. Lillian was employed part-time by Hirzel Canning, Inc. for many years during the summer months. She enjoyed watching baseball and considered herself the #1 fan of the Cleveland Indians. Surviving are her sons, David (Coleta), Dennis (Lisa) and Raymond Schmidlin; sister, Hazel Helmke; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 63 years, Raymond Sr.; brother, Gale Toms and sisters, Florence Belkofer and Helen Inglis. Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 11 am in Restlawn Memorial Park with Thomas Brandeberry officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Homes.
