Linda S. Buschmann, 65, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, January 1, 2018. Linda was born on June 23, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Sue (Gehr) Reese Sr. She graduated from Springfield High School in the Class of 1970 where she was a cheerleader. After graduation she studied at Machere Beauty Academy and then went on to become a loan officer at Mercy Health Partners Credit Union, but most recently with St. Charles Hospital Credit Union. Linda married Bob Buschmann on August 9, 1986 and together they enjoyed 31 years of marriage. Linda was a member of Cedar Creek Church in Perrysburg. She enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking and entertaining. Linda was a selfless woman who would open her door to all, and go out of her way to make you feel special. There are many people she and Bob would invite over to entertain and enjoy their pool. As the stories are endless from the fun times she spent with her friends and family, what Linda cherished most was being a great mother and grandmother. She adored the time she spent with her grandchildren and they will never forget the love she has given them. Linda was a great woman with a big heart and will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Linda is survived by her husband of 31 years, Bob; daughters, Nicole (Brian) Pointer, Laura (David) Needs; grandchildren, Colin, Rylie, Reed Pointer, Cami, Ella, Elijah Needs; siblings, LueAnn (Jerry) Abair, Chuck (Sandy) Reese, Tim (Robyn) Dishong, Harriet (Matt) Paden, Karen (Martin) Miller, Sherry Place; sister-in-law, Rosanne Keckler; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Jr.; and mother-in-law, Leah Buschmann.
Family and friends may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Springfield Township Cemetery.
