Linda Jane Jackson, 73 of east Toledo, passed away peacefully, Saturday August 7, 2021 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. Linda was born in Verda, Kentucky on July 28, 1948 to Worley and Minnie (Hunter) McMillan. Linda was a faithful member of Wyldewood Baptist Church, where she volunteered in the nursery for many years. She had worked at Burger King on Front Street for 20 years, retiring in 2017. Surviving are her loving husband, Creed Jackson (54 years); sons, Claude (Jamie) and Robert (Sarah); grandchildren, Charles, Zach, Keith, Alex, Dylan, and Parker; brothers, Lonnie, Danny, Dale. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her son Henry Jackson, daughter Angela Jackson; and siblings Worley Jr, Bobby, Jerry. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 12 from 2-8 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where her funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00pm. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
