Linda P. Lairson, 62, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by her family. Linda proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam. Linda met her husband, William, during this time. She followed him and worked as an LPN in various hospitals and Army bases in the US and Europe as he continued his military career. She was an avid Detroit Red Wing, Detroit Tiger, Toledo Walleye and Mud Hen fan. She enjoyed going to games or watching them on t.v. with her family. Linda loved to cook and was an excellent baker. Family was important to Linda. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 42 years, William; son, JW. and daughter-in-law, Julie; daughter-in-law, Michelle Lairson; grandchildren, Zachary and Amanda Lairson; sisters, Geneva (Willard) Long, Sarah Grimes, Penny Day; brothers, David Day, Bob (Mary) Day, Dan (Debbie) Day, Jerry (Louise) Day; in-laws, Marilyn and Don Leckta; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her son, Jerry (Joey); grandson, Bradley; parents, Paul M. and Hazel Day (Shrewsbury); 3 brothers, Joseph, Paul and James; sister, Shirley Shank. The family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all of their loving care. There will be no visitation. Services and interment will be private.
