Linda K. (Roe) Lanz, 59, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 1, 2008 in Toledo Hospital.  She was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 31, 1948 to Floyd and  Nancy (OBrien) Roe. Linda enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. She was best known as grandma fishy to all that loved her.            Linda is survived by her son, Gary (Nikki); daughter-in-law, Billie Lanz; grandchildren, Brittany, Caitlin, Devin, Kelsey and Emily; sisters, Sharon (Dale) Peters and Colleen Roe; brother, James (Lisa) Roe; nieces and nephews, Bobbi Ferguson, David Peters, Mike (Nicole) Roe, Derek Roe and Emmy Wagonfield; great nieces and nephews, Megan, Abby and Nicholas; special friends, Charles Cross and Buddy, and best friend, Gloria Currier. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Charles Lanz Jr..  The family will receive friends on Monday, August 4, 2008 from 2 until 9 pm at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Rd, Oregon, OH. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 p.m.  Inurnment will take place on a later date at Toledo Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions in Lindas name may be sent to a charity of the donors choice.  The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care provided by the Toledo CCU nurses and doctors.  Perhaps they are not stars in the sky But rather openings in Heaven Where our loved ones shine down To let us know they are happy.
