Linda Lee Meyers, 82, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on October 10, 2026, surrounded by the wonderful care of hospice and the love of family.

Linda was born in Toledo, Ohio, to Bernard E. Meyers and Juanita Slates Meyers. She was one of twelve children and carried with her throughout life the values of family, resilience, and kindness that came from growing up in a large family.

Linda leaves behind her beloved children: Tracey (Scott) Ammons, Robin (Kevin) Orford, Cathy (Noel) Bigley, Bud (Kena) Bigley, and Adam (Monique) Bigley. She was also a proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by several siblings who passed before her.

For many years, Linda dedicated her career to Buckeye Cable System before retiring and devoting herself full-time to one of her greatest passions, tending to her garden.

Linda found happiness in life's simple pleasures. A fresh cup of coffee, working in her garden, watching the sunset, or relaxing beneath a cozy blanket were among her favorite comforts. She treasured handwritten cards, thoughtful gestures, and time spent with those she loved. She enjoyed sharing meals with family, a glass of wine, and the simple gift of sitting beside the people who meant the most to her.

Linda had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome and valued. She left a little piece of herself with every person she met. During her final days, she touched the hearts of those who cared for her, and it seemed that everyone who walked through her door immediately grew fond of her warm spirit and gentle nature.

Linda's memory will live on in the the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her love, kindness, and quiet appreciation for life's simple blessings will never be forgotten.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The family will greet friends at Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral Homes, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, Ohio, 43616 on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice.
