Linda K. Moritz, 56, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2003 at her residence. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 22, 1946 to Harold and Fern (Hultz) Martin. Linda was a graduate of Genoa High School, and she was a Marilynette (baton twirler). She was a hairdresser right out of high school, working at various salons, including Sampsons. Linda was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Williston, Ohio, where she was active in various church groups. Linda was an animal lover, raising and taking care of many dogs. Surviving is husband of 36 years, Merle W.Moritz; children, Lisa (Daniel) Kessler, Christopher (Gabriela) Moritz; grandson, Andrew Kessler; mother, Fern Martin; sister, Judy Buhrow; brothers, Ronald and Donald Martin. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Harold Martin. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Avenue Oregon, Ohio on Wednesday from 2-9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 am at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 21140 W. Toledo St., Williston, OH, where family will greet friends at 10:00 am.
