Linda L. Munger, 62, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 11, 2009. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 4, 1947 to Richard and Movhe (Tucker) Beaupry.
Linda was a graduate of Bowsher High School and the University of Toledo. She was a lover of animals and nature from an early age and eventually earned her Master's Degree from the University of Toledo in Outdoor Recreational Science. She worked as a Naturalist for the Toledo Area Metroparks for 20 years and taught many area children and adults about the beauty as well as the creepy-crawly side of nature.
She loved all forms of music, especially Blues, was a voracious reader of mystery novels and nature books and many other subjects. She also loved birding all year long, but especially enjoyed the Spring Warbler migration at Magee Marsh and along the shores of Lake Erie.
Linda is survived by her sisters, Ricce (Butch) Williams of Oregon, Oh, and Teri Beaupry of Jerusalem Township, Ohio; nephew, Michael Williams; great nieces and nephews, Ashley, Aricca, Zachary, Jake and Stevie; close family friend, Denise Albrecht; faithful companions, Roxie and Mongo. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved dog, Willie.
Visitation will be at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 15, 2009. Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials in Linda's name can be made to the Nature Conservancy/Kitty Todd Nature Preserve, Black Swamp Bird Observatory or a charity of the donor's choice.
