Linda A. Schmidt, 67, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Linda was born in Canton, Ohio on February 9, 1954 to Martin and Mary (Cerrone) Ciprian. She graduated from Oakwood High School in Canton in 1972. Linda worked for various jobs over the years, most recently retiring from Roadway (2017) in the billing department. Linda enjoyed time with her family and grandchildren most of all. She was the best cook and baker, she would make her mother's Italian dishes with pride and loved to make custom birthday cakes for all her grandchildren. Whenever she could, she liked to go play the slot machines at the MGM Grand in Detroit and unwind. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, William Schmidt; sons, Mark (Elena Tokarczyk) Schmidt and Brian (Christine Winiarz) Schmidt; and grandchildren Mark II, Julianna, Andrew, Allison, and Charles. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Martin Ciprian. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held iat Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Parish - St. Stephens, 1880 Genesee Street, Toledo on Saturday, February 12 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
