Lindia C. (Dirmeyer) Rowland, 99, of Toledo, Ohio passed away July 29, 2004 in her residence. She was born in Edon Township, Wyandot County, Ohio on March 23, 1905 to William and Sarah (Tschanen) Dirmeyer. Lindia was a homemaker who was a beautiful china painter and avid bowler until the age of 97. She was a member of Unity United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star Nevada-Bucyrus Chapter #3 for 75 years. Surviving are her sons, Rick Rowland of Walbridge, OH and William (Debbie) Rowland of Oregon, OH; grandchildren, Bob and Jeff Rowland, Debbie Winters, Lindsey and Grant Rowland, and 6 great-grandchildren. Lindia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herbert G. Rowland; brothers, Walter, Robert and Benedict Dirmeyer; sisters, Olbia and Ruth Dirmeyer. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
