Lisa Sue Leonhardt, 58 of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 in her residence surrounded by her loving family after a long courageous battle against breast cancer. Lisa was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 10, 1959 to Carl and Barbara (Kraemer) Saylor. A 1977 graduate of Rossford High School, Lisa also received her Associate Degree from The University of Toledo as a Medical Assistant. She had worked 35 years for the Toledo Clinic as a CMA and was an office manager for Dr. Frank Hui and Dr. David Kouba. She also enjoyed reading, traveling, camping and visiting in Florida, although her true love was spending time with her husband, sons and family. She recently had started to make earrings which she really enjoyed doing and gave her much pleasure to be able to give them out to everyone.
Surviving are her loving husband of 34 years, David; sons, Michael (Ariel), Andrew (Kate); father, Carl Saylor; mother-in-law, Beverly Leonhardt; sisters, Cheryl (Jack) Hawley, Beth Payak Dock, Amy (Timothy) Scherer. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother in 2017. Lisa was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 1:00 pm and where the family will greet friends beginning at 9:00 am until the time of service. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Victory Center, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Memorial United Church of Christ.
