Lisa McCaferty, 45, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on January 4, 2024 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, Ohio. She was born on May 16, 1978 to Ricardo Gonzales and Sharon McCafferty. She graduated from Waite High School in 1996. Lisa was big on experiences and enjoyed living life to the fullest. She had a great appreciation for life and liked shopping and taking her kids on trips.

She is survived by her mother, Sharon McCafferty; husband, Kirk Gilson; father, Ricardo Gonzales; children, Dylan Gilson, Dakota Gilson and Dean Gilson; stepson, Andrew Gilson; sisters; and numerous aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. where a Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be directed to Lisa family for her children.
