Lois A. Hirzel, 63, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Friday, July 27, 2007, at her home. She was born in Oregon, OH on September 25, 1943, to Herman and Eleanor (Gladieux) Miller. Lois owned and operated Eastmoreland Beauty Salon until she sold the business, after which time Lois continued to be a hairdresser at the salon. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and Catholic Knights of Ohio. Lois will be remembered as a person who loved to entertain and always kept her family and friends close at heart. Surviving are her sons, Eric (Sherri) and Daniel (Ashley); grandchildren, Alekzander G. and Rebekah R.; brothers, Merle L (Ruth)., Mark A. (Alice), and Wayne R. (Lin) Miller. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh D. Hirzel; son, Hugh D. II and her parents. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday and Monday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and continue to St. Ignatius Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
