Lola Horvath, 93, of Newark, Ohio and formerly of Toledo, passed away Friday, December 26, 2003 in the Arlington Nursing Home in Newark. Lola was born in Toledo on January 27, 1910 to John and Elizabeth Bistayi. She was the widow of John Horvath who preceeded her in death in 1988. Mrs. Horvath was a member of Calvin United Church of Christ where she had been a member of the Fank Group and Lorantffy Ladies. She also loved working with ceramics and baking for her family. Surviving are her son, John A. (Kathleen) Horvath; grandchildren, John Horvath II, Doreen Kay(Chris) Aldrich, and Scott (Polly) Horvath; great grandchildren, Nick and Matthew Aldrich. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John, Joseph and Andrew Bistayi; sisters, Susan Gary and Mary Butcher. Family and friends may visit at the Kinsey Funeral Home 2001 Consaul Street on Sunday from 2 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 am in Calvin United Church of Christ, 1946 Bakewell Street. Interment will follow in N. Oregon Cemtery.
