Lola M. Slivinski, 98, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015. Lola was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 6, 1916 to Frank and Anna Kovacs. She was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church, the Altar Rosary Society, Mother's Club, Petticoat Ladies and The Hungarian Club.
Lola is survived by her children, Marlene Buffy, Joseph (Janet) Slivinski; daughter-in-law, Debbie Trumm Slivinski; grandchildren, Jenny Slivinski, Michael (Andrea Brown) Sullivan, Jennifer Baker, Chris (Tom) Andreoli, Julie (Dominic) Pinciotti, Patty (Scott) Schoepf, Mary Beth Kristen; nephew, Norman (Chris) Fender; 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John Slivinski; son, Michael Slivinski; son-in-law, Julius Buffy; grandson, Joseph Slivinski Jr.; sisters, Anna Kovacs, Hazel Fender and Margaret Frank.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Monday from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. with Rosary Service at 4:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Stephens Catholic Church, 1880 Genesee Street, Toledo, and where the family will greet friends beginning at 9:00 am. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Lola's family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Orchard Villa and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
