Loraine "Lori" Beach, 48, of Genoa, passed away November 26, 2009, at the University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born on February 14, 1961, in Defiance, Ohio to Raymond and Eleanor (Achter) Kretz. Lori was an avid gardener. She will be remembered as the person who loved to make all kinds of deserts, from many types of brownies to her fluffy cakes. Lori's real love was spending time with her husband, children and especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Bruce; sons, Joseph, Bradley, and Ross; daughter, Shannon (Adam) Thal; grandchildren, Xavier and Sam Beach, Sophia Thal; mother, Ellie Kretz; brothers, David (June) Dan (Cindy), Greg, and John; sisters, Rita (Bill) Provacha, Jeanne Kretz, Lisa (Mike) Aust;, 12 nieces and nephews; 3 great- nieces and nephews. Lori was preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 29, 2009, from 1-9 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 1111 Woodville Rd., Millbury Chapel, Millbury, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 30th at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor David Stogsdill officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
