Lorene L. Giffin, 60, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully, December 13, 2007, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born in Toledo on September 5, 1947, to Robert and Lucille (Sequin) McIntosh. Lori was an auxiliary member of the VFW Post 2984 Northwood, and the Eagles #2322 in Rossford. Lori was a very proud Nana and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to read, cook, spend time on her computer and with her therapy cat Doc. Surviving are her loving companion, Ed Emch; children, Kimberly (Stew) Hasapes, Derek (CC) Hartford, Butch (Kat) Hartford, Skip, Lee (Sally) and Kim Sue Hartford; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Mary Ellen Parker, and brother, Tom (Joan) Dille. Also surviving are her many friends and email buddies. Lori was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Jim Dille. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH, on Sunday from 1-8 p.m. Funeral services will be private.
