Obituary

Loretta E. Hoedt 97, of east Toledo, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. Loretta was born July 13, 1906 in Graytown, Ohio to Albert And Anna (Deno) Durdel. She married Arthur Hoedt who proceeded her in death in 1969. Loretta was a very active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. She was co-leader and leader of the Prayer Circle, also a member of many women's circle groups and a lifetime member of the Missionary Society. Loretta is survived by her children, Phillip Hoedt and Wayne (Linda) Hoedt; grandchildren, Ryan Hoedt, Stephen Hoedt, Karin (Russ) Teegarten, Marcia, Jeffery, Lauren Hoedt; sisters, Viola Langley, Leona Eck and Elsie Fleckner. Loretta was also preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Jason Hoedt and her 5 brothers and 1 sister. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon on Sunday from 2-9 pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Woodville Road at Elmore Street on Monday at 11:00 am where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, Ohio at 2:00 p.m. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Loretta's memory are asked to consider St. Mark Lutheran Church.
