Lory N. Arnold Jr., 71, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Lory was born in Norwalk, Ohio on February 15, 1943 to Lory N and Edna (Skinn) Arnold Sr. On November 9, 1962, he married the love of his life, Betty Withrow. Hoop worked as a truck driver and established Small Engine Repair in east Toledo in 1980, where he continued to serve his loyal customers. He enjoyed camping and was a dedicated NASCAR Fan; especially Dale Earnhardt Sr. & Jr. Lory will be remembered for his strong work ethic and his devotion to his grandchildren. Lory is survived by his children, Lory N. Arnold III and Cheri (Eugene) Crosby; grandsons, Randy & Ryan Crosby; sisters, Joyce Howy, Mary Meyer, and Evelyn (Harold) Ehrman; along with many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Betty. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 11:00 am in the funeral home.
