Lothar "Bob" Diemer, 78 formerly of Walbridge passed away Friday, December 5, 2003 at Manor of Perrysburg. Bob was born in Stratford, WI on March 9, 1925 to Rev. T.E. and Elizabeth (Schmaltz) Diemer, who preceded him in death as well as his first wife, Margaret and then his second wife, Jane. Bob served his country during WWII, servicing in the US Army. After graduating from Capital University he went to work for Sun Oil where he was employed for 36 years retiring in 1987. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Thomas Ketcham, Kathy and Robert Harsanje; grandchildren, Lindsay Roginski, Mandy, Jon, Joe Harsanje; brother, Rev. H.K. Diemer.
Friends and family may visit on Monday from 2-9 pm at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Private funeral services will be held Tuesday, followed by interment at Restlawn Memorial Park. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Bob's memory are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
Bob's family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Dr. David Atwell for never giving up. To Manor at Perrysburg, and Hospice of Northwest Ohio, nurses and staff for all the love and care they both provided to Bob during his stay and illness.
