Louie Jean McLaughlin, 82 of Williston, OH was called home and reunited with her beloved mother on Feb.10,2013. She was born May 27, 1930 to the late Freda and Eli McLaughlin. Jeanie lived a very sheltered but happy life with her mother for almost 65 years until illness forced her mother into a nursing home. Jeanie then went to live at Luther Home of Mercy in Williston, OH where she was lovingly cared for by all the wonderful staff and caregivers during the last 18 years of her life. Jeanie touched many people'™s lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew her warm and gentle ways. If you wanted to get a rise out of Jeanie, all you had to do was hide one of her baby-dolls and she would let you know it.
Jeanie is now at peace and will be missed by brothers Glen (Betty) Ellenton FL, Mike, Lyndhurst OH and Jim (Terri) Sylvania OH. The family would like to give special thanks to all the medical staff & caregivers at the Luther Home of Mercy for their love and support of Jeanie through the years. And many thanks to the compassionate medical staff at St. Charles ICU for their care of Jeannie during her last days.
