Louis Avalos Jr, 75, of east Toledo passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2003 in his home. He was born in Toledo on May 11, 1927 to Louis and Alexandria Avalos. Louis worked for AP Parts for 30 years and most recently owned and operated the Avalos Carry-Out for 8 years retiring in 1983. He enjoyed his retirement years with his wife of 54 years, Dolores. Preceded in death by his son, Louis Avalos III, he lives on in memory with wife, Dolores; children, Mike (Edith) Avalos, Angie (Tom) hitaker, Shesha Kennedy, Dave (Nancy)Avalos; brothers, Frank (Charlotte) Avalos, Alex (Olga) Avalos; sister, Irene (Bill) Click; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel 440 S. Coy Rd. Oregon, OH on Tuesday from 2-9 pm with recitation of the Rosary at 4 pm. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 am and proceed to St. Stephens Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Interment will take place in N. Oregon Cemetery.
