Louis R. Boehm, 87, of Swanton, formerly of East Toledo, passed away Monday, April 5th, 2010, at Swanton Valley Care and Rehabilitation. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Rudolph and Ida (Kunkel) Boehm. Louie was a 1941 graduate of Waite High School and a lifelong member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. He served in Patton's Army during World War II. Louie married Margaret Brucker on August 6, 1949 and she preceded him in death February 1, 1993. He was employed with GM Powertrain for 30 years, retiring in 1976. Louie enjoyed playing bingo and drives around town in his truck. Louie is survived by his sisters, Grace (Norman) Adkins, Jeanette Williams; along with many nieces and nephews.
