Louis W. Nadolny, Jr., 80, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on July 22, 2018 at the Landings of Oregon. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 30, 1937 to Louis Sr., and Caroline Krzyzanowski. Louis is a Veteran of the US Army where he was a tank driver and served during the Cuban Missle Crisis. Following his time in the military he worked for the University of Toledo in the painting and maintenance department. He was a member of Epiphany of the Lord – St. Thomas Aquinas Parish and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially attending his grandchildren's sporting events.
Louis is survived by his sons, Mark (Robin), Michael (Jomanna Shaheen); son-in-law, Thomas "Woody" Woodrum; grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary, Dennis, Jenna, Jami. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia; daughter, Julie A. Woodrum; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Bill Economous.
Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday at Epiphany of the Lord – St. Thomas Parish, 729 White St., Toledo at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Louis' name are asked to consider Southern Care Hospice or Epiphany of the Lord St. Thomas Parish. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Landings of Oregon and Southern Care Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion given to Louis and his family.
