Obituary

Louis Roland Takacs, 54, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 in his residence. Louie was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 9, 1966 to Louis and Cheryl (Collins) Takacs. He had graduated from Clay High School in 1984. Louie owned and operated Takacs Meat Market in the Birmingham neighborhood, east Toledo. He was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church, Paragon Masonic Lodge 788. Birmingham Hall of Fame and the New Sportsman Club. Louie was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his many friends as well as his pride and joy Ford Mustang. Surviving are his daughter, Ashlyn Takacs; father and mother, Louis and Cheryl; brothers, Jim (Mary), Jerry (Katalin); grandmother, Margaret Takacs. Also surviving are his nieces. Louie was preceded in death by his son, Austin Takacs; grandparents, Louis Takacs, Ellen & Henry Wonziak. Visitation will be held on Thursday and Friday from 2-8pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where Masonic services will be held Saturday, April 10 at 11:00 am funeral services will immediately follow. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Austin Takacs Scholarship Fund,Clay High School.
