Obituary

Louise Vivian Bisel, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 at Orchard Villa. Vivian was born March 13, 1925 to Clyde and Jessie (Sims) Hamon in Ulysses, Kansas. She graduated from Grant County Rural High School in 1943. A Word War II Veteran, Vivian met and married John Bisel on Febrauary 23, 1946 and they were happily married until he passed away in 2000. She was an avid quilter and cross-stitcher. In her younger years, Vivian enjoyed bowling. Between 1963 and 2009, the Sister Reunions were a big part of their lives, as well as all of her family. She was also a devout member of Hope Community Church in Oregon, Ohio. Surviving are her children, Evelyn A. (Albert) Gephart, John Scott (Susan) Bisel and Claudia Lorraine Wines; grandchildren Ryan (Gwynne) Gephart, Lisa A. Bucher; great grandchildren Sophie, Lilly and Scotty; and sisters Evelyn (Bob) Martin and Inez Shirley. She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters and brother Leona Endsley, Lavon Miller, Grace Hickman, Melvin Hamon, Opal Jantz, Mary Mann; stepsister Nadine Howard; and her great grandson Casey Bucher. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 11 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH 43616. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home 11:00 a.m on Wednesday, December 12. Interment will take place immediately following at Restlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express their sympathies may make a memorial contribution to the Donor'™s Choice.
