Louise M. Christoff, 81, of Sylvania and formerly of East Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2006 in the home of her daughter. Mrs. Christoff was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 24, 1924 and later moved to Long Beach California where she spent her early years. It was here that she met and married her husband Chris who was on medical leave from the Army Air Corp during World War II. While living in Long Beach she was employed at the 20th Century Fox Studios. Louise loved to dance and ride horses and especially enjoyed spending her time in the outdoors. After she and Chris moved to Toledo she was employed by Great Lake Storage and later at the Main Street branch of Toledo Trust Company for 10 years. She was a member St. Rose Church in Perrysburg.
Surviving are her daughter, Patti (Bob) Brown; son, Chris Christoff Jr.; grandchildren, Jason, Jaime, Alisha, Brittany; great grandchildren, Robert, Milik and Landen.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at11:00 am. Interment will follow in Willow Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions in Louise's name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
