Louise Nassar Watters, 92, formerly of East Toledo, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Louise was born in Paducah, Kentucky on March 21, 1924 to Albert and Eunice (English) Clark. She was a graduate of Waite High School and attended the University of Toledo. When her husband Jimmy returned from World War II, they operated the Starr Fancy Fruit & Vegetable Market until his death in 1964. For many years, Louise worked as a legal secretary with AP Parts, Glasstech, and several local law firms. Louise was a volunteer with the Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo Zoo, and Bay Park Community Hospital. Her memberships included Order of the Eastern Star Yondota Chapter #317 and Friends of Pearson Metropark.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Sheila (Sam) Gamble and Mary Louise (Terry) Breymaier; step-son, Kurt (Nancy) Watters; grandchildren, Samantha Gamble, Scott (Danielle Buckius) Gamble, Rob (Bharathi Jayaram) Breymaier, Meredith (Carrie Ryan) Breymaier, Lynn Watters, and Todd Watters; great-grandchildren, Harrison, Vivek, Hamilton, Felix, Addison, Anderson, and Beatrice; sister, Mary Good; sisters-in-law, Rose (Herb) Ford and Marcella Clark; along with many nieces, nephews, and loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, James Nassar and Douglas Watters; and brother, Robert Clark.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
