Lovie M. Johlin, 75, of Oregon, OH passed away Monday, April 18, 2005 in Arbors of Oregon. She was born in Oregon Township on May 13, 1929 to Herbert and Pansy (Prentiss) Keller. Lovie was owner and operator of the gift shop at Johlin Winery. She was a member of the Velvetone Choraliers, Oregon-Jerusalem Historical Society, East Toledo Historical Society, and First St. John Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the church choir.
Surviving Lovie are her husband of 56 yrs., Richard F.; daughter, Carol A. (David Greenhoff) Johlin; son, Gary A. (Brenda) Johlin; sister, Helen Richason; 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 4 step-grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Herbert and sister, Shirley.
Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave. on Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy in Lovie's memory can be made to First St. John Lutheran Church.
