Lucille H. Barraclough, 101, formerly of Millbury, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Lucille was born in Toledo, Ohio, on May 24, 1913 to Albert and Dora (Badenhope) Schuldt. Lucille was a graduate of Scott High School and Bowling Green State University. On October 24, 1936, she married the love of her life, Clarence Barraclough. For 19 year, Lucille taught 1st Grade at Lake Township Schools, retiring in 1978. She continued to serve as a reading tutor following retirement. Lucille was a lifelong member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and active with the women's group, where she served as president. Her memberships included: Lotus Chapter #477 Order of the Eastern Star, Ohio State Teachers Association, Wood County Retired Teachers Association, and YWCA Young Matrons. Lucille and Clarence enjoyed spending summers at Indian River Michigan. Her true passion was spending time with her family, who brought her much joy. Lucille is survived by her children, David (Joan) Barraclough, Ruth Ann (Bill) Baker, and Dale (Emily) Barraclough); grandchildren, David (Nancy) Barraclough, Linda (Jay) Stewart, Brandon Baker, Kevin (Leah) Baker, Brian (Michelle) Barraclough, Brad (Colleen) Barraclough, Bob Barraclough and Amy Barraclough; great-grandchildren, Melissa (Junior) Stewart, Justin Barraclough, Amber (Jason) Harmon, Shelby and Madison Stewart, Lucy and Brynn Baker, Brian Jr., Cody, Katelin, Beth, and Annie Barraclough; 6 great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence; and sister, Dorothy (Harry) DeArmond. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, where an Eastern Star service will be held at 4:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 12, 2015 at 10:00 am in Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 601 Nevada Street, Toledo, where the family will greet friends beginning at 9:00 am.
