Lucille E. Fast, 95, passed away peacefully early Friday morning July 16th, 2021 and was laid to rest at Toledo Memorial Park on July 19, 2021. She was born March 31, 1926, in Toledo Ohio to Iona and Herbert Fast, where she resided the entirety of her life. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Dorothy, Norman and Edson. She is survived by loving cousins, nieces, nephews and their families. She graduated from Scott High School in 1944 and worked 34 years in the accounting department of Champion before retiring in 1989. Lucille was a faithful Christian and longtime member of First Alliance Church, where she is remembered for her dedication and service. Lucille's greatest joy was engaging with the Bible, and enjoying fellowship with others as they studied the Word. She loved her work and enjoyed traveling with friends including trips to the Holy Land, a cruise on the Rhine River, and visiting Amish country. Lucille was many things to many people and will be missed by all. She was a devoted daughter and sister, friend, beloved aunt, and Bible teacher. As Lucille would often pray when parting, "May the Lord grant you traveling mercies and protect you from things seen and unseen." A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00 am at First Alliance Church, 2201 Monroe St., Toledo, Ohio, 43604.
